The Micro Electric Hummingbird is now available in Fixed pitch and Collective Pitch versions. Beginners getting started in helicopters can be flying their FP (fixed pitch) helicopter in just under 2 hours using the complete package  radio system, or any other 4 channel  radio transmitter they have. Modelers can fly indoors or on calm days at the park for 7 - 10 minutes. The Hummingbird CP (collective pitch) is for more experienced modelers who want to learn aerobatics and 3D style aerobatic maneuvers. The Hummingbird CP helicopter uses the Electric Cyclic Collective Pitch Mixing to change rotor blade pitch for all types of flying styles.

The Hummingbird CP uses a minimum of 5 channels. To complete the CP kit you require a 6 channel radio transmitter system that supports 120 degree CCPM.  This is generally a 2610 JR or greater radio.

Kit includes Gyro, servos and receiver.  Add Transmitter and crystals to complete.

A mains or 12volt peak detection charger for use on up to 8.4v packs.  Ideal for indoor helicopters due to having a 240V connection ie mains.  Charge rates can be altered from 0.5amps to 3 amps on indoor use and up to 5 amps external 12V use (ie car battery).  Hummingbird charge lead supplied free.

Simple use with one button operation to charge and selection dial for amp rate.  Can be used to fast charge packs at C1 rating ie 600 ma in 1 hr at 0.6 amp charge rate.  Drops over to trickle charge after pack is detected to be charged.  Can also be left at trickle charge rate for conditioning from flat ie slow charge.
