Zero-maintenance: The only wearing parts are two sealed ball bearings which have a rated life of 30,000 hours.

Same diameter (1400 series) as a Mabuchi 540 can type 05 brush motor.

Throttle Jocky Governor

Designed by a model helicopter flyer, the Model Avionics "Throttle Jockey" is a rotor speed governor. This is the latest technology in rotor speed governors. The Throttle Jockey is a high performance, digital speed regulator for model helicopters designed to give optimum engine performance over the full pitch range. It uses an adaptive feed-forward control algorithm to regulate rotor speed. The Throttle Jockey was designed for easy setup and installation too!
The Jockey continuously adapts to the response of the engine and the demands of the pilot. Aggressive throttle commands, such as 3D flying, cause the Jockey to under-damp the control loop yielding a fast response to changing loads and slowly changing throttle commands, as in FAI maneuvers, cause the Jockey to over-damp the control loop yielding a smooth response to changing loads. 

The Jockey employs a pulse filtering system that cleans up any hits or glitches on the auxiliary and throttle channels if used on an FM system. Speed can be changed in-flight by use of an Auxiliary channel on the transmitter. Easy setup and installation.

This controller is designed for the 30 class of helicopters or large planes which run 16-30 cells.  4 bit switches are on the controller for some simple additional features ie starting load, hard/soft timing.  These controllers have self teaching intelligent software which provides max power output.

CSMRL10 : RevLock Governor System
Revlock is packed full of features that ensure the simplest possible installation & operation. CSM have utilised a linear hall-effect magnetic sensor to achieve powerful signal sensing that is not reliant on magnet orientation. Combine this with a sturdy mounting system & automatic signal strength test, & reliable engine speed data is achieved every single flight. RevLock is operated remotely via any auxiliary control channel or integrally via a manually adjustable pot. Either style of operation offers fine RPM adjustment over a wide range & the target speed is visually indicated thus eliminating the need for a seperate expensive tachometer. Other useful functions include smooth engagement & speed ramping system, digital/non-digital servo servo selections, de-bug engine-setting feature, advanced adjustable response feature & automated PPM Fail-Safe for enhanced safety. By utilising the most up to date technology, CSM have surpassed all design expectations on both performance & manufacturing costs. LiPo Voltage Guard with audible and led alarm

Lipo packs must not be discharged below approximately 3.0 Volts per cell. Even a single deep discharge may permanently damage your pack. The tiny Lipo Voltage Guard operates in parallel with your Electric Speed Controller. It will flash a LED when your pack drops below a preprogrammed voltage threshold. The factory setting is for 3 cells , 3.0V per cell, with 'timed minimum hold'. The LiPo Voltage Guard may be easily reprogrammed to suit your own requirements with your transmitter/ receiver the supplied programming lead and your flight pack or power supply capable of any voltage between 5 and 45 volts.
